If you have an important event such as a wedding, graduation, photoshoot, or social event, treatment planning should be done in advance. Some treatments need time to settle, while others may cause temporary swelling, bruising, or redness.
In general, skin programs, fillers, or some skin tightening treatments may be planned 2–4 weeks before the event. Botox or treatments that require time to settle are often better planned 1–2 weeks in advance. Facials, skin vitamins, or glow-boosting programs may be considered 3–7 days before, depending on skin condition.
If the event is very close, it is safer to avoid treatments that may cause swelling, bruising, or irritation. Temporary redness, swelling, bruising, or soreness can occur after some cosmetic procedures.
